How AI contributes to a Long Edition

Long Edition is an AI-produced service with application-owned editorial rules, evidence records and release checks. This page explains the boundary plainly.

Research and writing

AI models interpret your prompt, search the web where the workflow permits it, propose an editorial direction, build a source dossier, write the script and perform bounded reviews. A source link means you can inspect the basis; it does not guarantee the source or interpretation is correct.

Narration and artwork

The narrator is a synthetic voice provided by an AI speech service. Programme illustrations are AI-generated editorial collages. They are not photographs or documentary evidence and may simplify or symbolise the subject.

Editorial safeguards

The application records material factual claims, citations, review outcomes, repairs, costs and remaining advisories. It blocks specified material failures and preserves genuine uncertainty. These controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate error, bias, omission or disputed judgement.

Human involvement

Programmes are not routinely fact-checked or approved by a human before delivery. Support may investigate a correction, complaint, safety issue or provider failure. Do not treat a programme as professional advice or as the sole basis for an important decision.

Your choices and feedback

You choose the question, length and voice. The finished transcript, sources, production summary and disclosure remain available with the audio. You can report a factual, attribution, privacy, rights or audio concern to support@longedition.com.
